Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information โ and the identity data we deliberately never keep.
Draft for review. This policy is a working draft that describes our intended data practices. It must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before launch and localized to the jurisdictions we operate in.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email, public username, password (stored only as a secure hash), and date of birth.
- Profile information: optional bio and profile photo, plus the content you post.
- Verification status: whether your account is verified, the provider used, a provider reference id, and timestamps.
- Usage and device data: basic technical information needed to operate the service securely.
Identity verification data
Identity verification is performed by a third-party provider. You submit your documents directly to them. We do not receive or store your identity documents or selfie images. We keep only the minimum needed to know that verification succeeded and to reconcile with the provider.
How we use your information
- To operate your account and deliver the service.
- To enforce our guidelines and keep the community safe.
- To secure the platform and prevent abuse.
What we never show publicly
Your legal name and any identity details from verification are never displayed to other members. Your public identity is always your pseudonymous username.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal obligations. Retention periods are configurable and subject to legal review; removed content may be retained in a restricted form for a limited period for safety and compliance.
Your choices
You can update your profile, deactivate your account, or request account deletion from your settings. See our Terms & Conditions for more.
